艺术的动人,是因其含对生命的感悟,而艺术的发生,则脱离不了时代的轨迹和个人要素。
如今艺术形式的多样化,彼得·多伊格作为当代艺术中炙手可热的一员,以传统绘画的新样貌立足于艺术界,其艺术背后的形成与当代性的表达是值得被探讨的。
起初以分析个人成长状态,讲述由童年漂泊的经历所形成的习性成为彼得·多伊格绘画的因素,再谈同时代下即当代艺术的背景概要。在第二章中则探讨彼得·多伊格的创作手法与思想呈现,得出影像引发创作,科技迸发艺术的核心是艺术家拥有自主性的表达,以此才能在时代与科技不断进步的洪流中站稳脚跟,而彼得·多伊格以饱含个人要素注入画面:截取影像元素的创作手法,融入个人的想象和记忆。
最后一章从肖像于新绘画的回归入手,从艺术发展的背景中引出彼得·多伊格模糊的形象背后、流动的风景中是带着人类普遍的忧郁气质,这不仅是由于彼得·多伊格的漂泊经历,更是由科技时代所带来繁华与冷漠,距离与孤独的影响,这是对当下现实人们精神的普遍写照。但在那消沉的疲惫中还表现了最坚决的反抗,即彼得·多伊格是用消极的图像体现世界和内心的积极面,他引导一种向上的精神,也是时代精神。最后以他的三段式划分的构图用来说明他的态度,人是立于世界的独居者,也是立于自然的中间项,即空无又存在的体现。
彼得·多伊格绘画的当代性表达不是体现在对某个技术的推进,而是他以真诚的手法体现了自身诉求,并彰显时代的气息,当代性应该是具有某种精神的指引。

The reason why art moves people is that it contains the perception of life, and the occurrence of art cannot be separated from the track of The Times and individual elements.
In contemporary art, there are various forms of art. As a hot member of contemporary art, Peter Doig has established himself in the art world with the new appearance of traditional painting. The formation and contemporary expression behind his art are worth discussing.
At first, the analysis of personal growth and the narration of childhood wandering experience became the elements of Peter Doig's painting, and then the contemporary art background. Were also discussed in the second chapter Peter Doig technique and ideas, it is concluded that image creation, spurt of science and technology at the core of art is the expression of artistic autonomy artists have to gain a foothold in the era, while Peter doig to contain personal elements into the picture: use desirable image elements, and integrated into the imagination and memory.
