本文立足于山西《大云寺弥勒重阁碑》的发现，在简单介绍该碑图像与铭文的基础上，分析了该碑图像与铭文背后隐藏的信息。又结合猗氏大云寺建立时间及当时时代背景，简要分析了武周初立的佛教支持与山西佛教学派之间的可能关联。本文初步认定猗氏大云寺的建立不仅顺应了佛教支持武周初建的时代潮流，更与当地涅槃学派的宗教诉求关联重大。《大般涅槃经》的功用不仅在于讲解“涅槃”，使众生求得“涅槃道”，更为教徒实修提供指导。《大方等无想经》延续了《大般涅槃经》的主旨，于经中构建净光天女以“护法菩萨”得佛授记一事，不仅给予涅槃师现世修行的指导，更为帝王所重。最后，本文将试图在猗氏大云寺涅槃学派实修的背景中解读弥勒重阁与“涅槃变”造像碑的关联。

 on the basis introduction of the images and inscriptions, we find that the information hideaway the statuary tablet is the Buddhist’s radition of Ren-shou monastery. It is the nirvana school who made the Maitreya Garret and the nirvana narratives on the tablet. The Mahaparinivana Sutra not only publicizes the Buddha’s teaching but also provides the practice to the followers. To the end, the connection between the tablet’s nirvana narrativy and the Maitreya Garret would be confirmed by the practice of the nirvana school.
