当前我国博物馆事业飞速发展，外部建筑趋于世界先进水平的同时，内部展览的展示设计水平却总体偏低。出现这一问题的原因在于目前对展示设计的研究宽度有余而深度不够。展示活动涉及的领域十分宽泛，展览所处的语境不同，对展示设计的技术要求和艺术要求也都大为不同。本文通过介绍“语境”、“博物馆”及其相关概念，阐释“博物馆语境”的涵义，及这一语境对展示设计的具体技术性要求和抽象的空间氛围定位。色彩是展示设计所运用的重要视觉元素之一，本文结合展示空间的色彩设计，探讨了如何运用色彩设计满足不同观众的生理特征和心理需求；如何运用色彩的情感性营造能够准确传达展览主题的精神内涵或时代、地域等特征的空间色彩氛围；及保护展品对灯光色彩及环境色彩的技术性要求；如何协调各色彩元素营造符合博物馆意境的色彩氛围等展示设计中涉及的具体问题。

Nowadays, the museum industry is developing on fast track in China. However, while the architecture design of museum is approaching the world level, the whole display design inside the museum is still falling behind the world level. The reason of this situation is because the research and study for display design has been paid too much attention on the width instead of depth. Display events involves in quite a variety fields, thus, different contexts of display ask for different designing from both technical and art aspect. By introducing “Context”, “Museum” and related definitions, this article elaborates meaning of “Museum context”, as well as its detailed technical requirement for display design and abstract space atmosphere position. Color is one of the most important visual elements in display design. Citing theory and examples of color design in display space, this paper discusses about how to fulfill diversified viewers physically and mentally using color design；how to accurately convey spacial color atmosphere of different display topics which have distinguish spiritual context, era or region by manipulating relationship between color and human emotion; technical requirement on lighting color and environment color to preserve display items; how to balance all color elements to set up variety color atmospheres that unify within museum environment, etc and some other issues in display design as well.
