  墓主夫妇画像是汉魏以来墓室装饰的常见题材之一,然在唐代却几近绝迹,而到了宋代又重新在北方中原地区以“一桌两椅”的模式流行起来,并逐渐形成墓主夫妇宴饮的新主题。河南地区是北宋两京之所在,也是目前宋代墓葬发现墓主夫妇画像最为集中且最具代表性的地带。故此,本文试图从河南地区宋代墓葬中墓主夫妇画像所出现的新因素——如家居摆设、侍奉人物、供品以及画面所处的整体家居环境变化等——入手,将墓室周壁的相关表现题材有机地纳入到以乐舞宴饮为主题的墓主夫妇画像的讨论中来;通过考察墓主画像与其它图像之间的关联,使图像的解释空间得到合理地延伸。笔者认为:墓葬中一桌二椅及其供奉物品的陈设既是来自理想生活的需求又是营造地下之家的一个特定空间;围绕着墓主夫妇画像展开乐舞、备宴等侍奉活动传达出宋代世俗阶层的理想生活愿景。与此同时,文章还通过对宋代寿词的考察,进一步肯定宋代视墓室为“庆堂”与唐宋世俗社会对长寿的期待和祈求长久欢庆、子孙荣昌的普遍追求有关联,墓主夫妇画像正是这一观念风尚之下的图像表征之一,其最终指向一种理想的家庭图景,作为“孝道”的一种具体化表现,它体现了生人对死者的终极关怀。也正是这种对物质文化生活和家庭理想的新追求,促成了两京地区“墓主夫妇宴饮”这一新的象征图式的诞生和流行。

The portrait of tomb owner couple is the common subject in the tomb chamber’s decoration since  the Han and Wei dynastiesand which almost disappeared in Tang dynasty. But in Song dynasty, this form re-emerged with a new pattern of “one table and two chairs”, and gradually grew into a popular new theme representing the couple in a banquet. Henan province is where the two capitals north Sung dynasty located, and it is found the most intensive and representative region of the tomb owner couple’s portrait. Therefore, starting with the study on the new factors appeared in the portraits in the Sung tombs of Henan area ——such as the living ornaments, the serving characters, the offerings and the changes in living environment where the portrait locates, the related subjects can be organically brought into the discussion of the musical dances and banquet themed tomb owner couple’s portraitand then on the connection between the portrait with other imagesthe space for explanation is reasonably extended. The author of this paper believe that, “one table and two chairs” and the arrangement of the offerings in the tomb not only come from the demand for the ideal life, but also created a specific space for the couple in the nether world and the ideal living scene dreamed by the Sung’s commoners is thus conveyed through the serving activities organized around the couple, such as dancing to music and preparing dinner. At the same time, based on the study of birthday statement in Sung dynasty, this paper further affirms the connection between the people of the Tang and Song Dynasties’ regarding the tomb chamber as a “celebrating hall” and the universal aspiration of the common customs society for longevity, permanent celebrates and prosperous descendants, and the tomb owner couple’s portrait is a symbolic representation right under this popular social attitude, which finally directs an ideal family prospect, and indicates the ultimate concern to the dead when it is as an concrete expression of “filial piety”. Just because of the new pursuit in material and cultural life and family ideal, the new pattern “the tomb owner couple in a banquet” thrives in the two capitals area.
