在新中国美术史上,油画《父亲》作为乡土写实主义的力作,具有持久的艺术魅力。虽然诸多学者对这件名作给予了高频率的关注,但是从《父亲》的艺术接受史入手,进而探索名作在接受中的特殊性,还未有学术成果问世。本论文就是以罗中立的油画《父亲》为研究对象,采取历史个案研究的方法,在全面清理学术史、大量收集第一手资料的基础上,进而对这件名作展开接受历程的回顾,揭示其名作效应产生与演变的根源。 本文追述了《父亲》不同历史时期不同受众的接受状况,探析了《父亲》名作效应产生与演变的诸多因素。首先,为了全面展示这件作品的艺术接受历程,本文一改过去人们惯于从第二届全国青年美展上《父亲》大获成功为起点,去谈论其社会影响的流行做法,而是将艺术接受的起点还原到创作过程中,以及最初这件作品在四川青年美展上的受众反应。本文结合了艺术家、艺术批评家、普通受众等不同群体对此作品的接受反应,呈现了《父亲》在诞生之初震撼人心而又几经波折的接受状况。接着,笔者探讨了《父亲》产生名作效应的根源,认为时代背景、罗中立的生活体验与创作动机簇,作品本身的内在魅力,《美术》杂志与青年美展为代表的传播机制等因素是催化其名作效应产生的主要原因。后期《父亲》作为一种社会文化符号,其接受演变的情况趋向复杂与多元。笔者不仅详细呈现了艺术家或大众的各种嫁接现象与批评家的新解,而且剖析了其接受变异的动力条件。笔者认为时代变迁所带来的社会关注点的变化是《父亲》嫁接再创造作品的主要内容、农村题材的持久魅力为其内涵延伸提供了时代锁接链、传播机制转变带来的传播新特点使得《父亲》与传播媒介之间实现了“互利共赢”的良好局面。这些条件共同构成了《父亲》持续被关注的原因。最后,本文在《父亲》接受个案研究的基础上,进一步从接受美学角度尝试探析了造成名作效应产生与演变的主要因素,得出结论认为:时代政治、文化气候为名作效应产生与演变提供了适宜的土壤;具有敏锐透视力并善于将生活体验中的真挚情感注入作品中的艺术家,对名作的形成起到了显著作用;充满魅力与多重内涵的作品本身是构成名作效应持久存在的硬件条件;传播机制的推动是名作效应产生与演变的外在动力;受众对名作接受的特殊心理以及主体接受的差异性,进一步稳固并拓展了名作效应;集体文化的限定性为接受主体间、接受主体与艺术作品间提供了可交流的平台。本论文既是对油画《父亲》艺术接受历史个案的研究,也是对名作接受特殊性的大胆尝试。 |

The painting Father, a masterpiece of countryside realism by Zhongli luo, has a long-lasting artistic charm in the new Chinese art history . While a great number of scholars have given the high frequency of attention to it, no one started from the the aspect of history of art reception to explore the distinctiveness of this masterpiece and yet the advent of academic achievements is an empty. This thesis tries to study Zhongli Luo 's painting "Father", adopting the method of a historical case study. Based on a comprehensive clean-up of academic history, a large collection of first-hand information, the author focuses on the the review of the course of the art reception of this masterpiece ,which has a broad and lasting social impact, and thus reveals the root of its social effect and evolution. This dissertation traces the acceptance of this masterpiece by different audience in different historical periods, as well as analyzes a good many factors of its creation of the social effect and evolution. In order to fully demonstrate the course of art acceptance of this piece, instead of the fact that people used to consider it great success in the Second National Youth Art Exhibition as a starting point to talk about the popular practice of social impact, the author attempts to disscuss its art accepted starting point in the process of art creation and the the audience reaction of the first piece in the Sichuan Youth Art Exhibition. First of all, the paper retrospects the reactions of different groups to the acceptance of this work, such as the artists, art critics and general audience, displaying the masterpiece Father’s great and stirring acceptance situation of twists and turns at the birth of this work. Afterwards, the author explores the root cause of the "masterpiece effect” of this work through the multi-angle analysis of the historical background, Zhongli Luo 's life experience and creative motivation, the intrinsic charm of the work itself, and the mechanism of transmission of the magazine Fine Art and the National Youth Art Exhibition. In the later period, masterpiece "father" was considered to be a social and cultural symbol, and its evolution of acceptance tends to be complex and diverse. The author not only presents in detail a new solution for a variety of grafting phenomenon of artists and critics, and on this basis by representing the changes of the time, an extension of themes connotation as a symbol and the transformation of the propagation mechanis , the author elaborates the dynamic conditions of its acceptance of the variation . Finally, based on the above review and discussion,the author further analyzes the main factors resulting in the generation and evolution of the masterpiece Father’s social effect. The conclusions are as follows: the era of politics and culture climate created a suitable soil for the generation and evolution of its masterpiece effect; the sincere emotion that the artist perfused in the works played a significant role in the formation of this masterpiece; bing full of charm and association of ideas of this work is the key to its persistence of the masterpiece effect; the promotion of mechanism of transmission is external forces for production and the evolution of the masterpiece effect. At the same time, special psychological state and the differences of self-reception steady and expand the masterpiece effect. This dissertation is not only the case study of painting Father in the aspect of its art acceptance history, but also the bold attempt to explain the particularity of masterpiece acceptence. |
