“荒诞性”这个词源于人们生活环境和社会条件的变化,导致形而上学的痛苦。生 活体验中的无意义感和绝望感,在二战后西方世界社会中表现的淋漓尽致。许多人经历 了信仰的破灭和理想的崩塌,导致人们认为自身失去了生存的价值和存在的意义。久而 久之,“荒诞”就成了现代人在面对生活困难时释放自己的出口,同时搭起了与一场破 碎的理想对抗的桥梁。
本文选择的研究对象——艾德里安·格尼。这名出生于罗马尼亚的画家,他的架上 绘画作品已经在国际市场上取得了巨大的反响。一方面,从内容上来看,他的作品大量 取材于自己的成长背景以及历史资料。另一方面,在形式语言上,他在以巴洛克艺术风 格为骨,以后印象派的艳丽用色为皮,在遵循具象写实的基础上采用更加现代的表现形 式,将自己对社会、历史、现代文明的思考,以一种解构后重组的手段呈现在画布上, 向观众呈现出一种不同于以往的具象表现主义绘画语言。他的作品大多充满了诡异、暴 力、色情、疯狂等意象,以及对于社会阴暗及混乱的感受。当时的人们常常评价格尼的 画为荒诞、疯狂、怪诞,但如果你仔细看他的作品,你会发现,在他荒诞离奇的表象背 后,是他严肃严谨的绘画手法——充分表达了理性与非理性的结合。
本文从分析艾德里安·格尼画作的“荒诞性”出发,画作中的“荒诞性”语言的技 法和表现形式,研究将运用文献调查法、图像分析法等方法,探究艾德里安·格尼作品 中的“荒诞性”表达。本文主要分为四个部分进行论述总结,第一部分主要论述“荒诞 性”的溯源及其艺术语言的主要表达形式;第二部分论述艾德里安·格尼画作中的“荒 诞性”溯源,也就是其画作荒诞气质风格的形成背景;第三部分将继第二部分对于深究 格尼绘画的“荒诞性”形式语言特征,从“怪诞化”的视觉传达、“隐喻化”的象征手 法、“拼贴化”的叠印风格与画面表露出的艺术语言架构,通过对其画作中处理手法和 创作形式的分析,论述其不同时期作品中对各种荒诞元素的处理;第四部分探讨艾德里 安·格尼画作中的荒诞性表达对于笔者的创作的感悟与启示。

The term "absurdity" originates from changes in the environment and social conditions in which people live, leading to metaphysical suffering. The sense of meaninglessness and despair in the experience of life is vividly expressed in the society of the Western world after World War II. Many people have experienced the disillusionment of their beliefs and ideals, leading people to believe that they have lost the value of their existence and the meaning of their existence. Over time, the "absurd" has become an outlet for modern people to release themselves in the face of life's difficulties, and at the same time build a bridge against a broken ideal.
The subject of this study is Adrian Gurney. Born in Romania, this post-70s painter has already achieved great repercussions in the international market with his easel paintings. On the one hand, in terms of content, his works are largely based on his own background and historical materials. On the other hand, in terms of formal language, he takes the Baroque art style as the backbone, the gorgeous colors of post-impressionism as the skin, and adopts a more modern form of expression on the basis of following the figurative realism, presenting his thoughts on society, history and modern civilization on the canvas by means of deconstruction and reconstruction, presenting to the audience a different figurative expressionist painting language from the past. Most of his works are full of eerie, violent, erotic, crazy and other imagery, as well as feelings about the darkness and chaos of society. At the time, people often commented on Gurney's paintings as absurd, crazy, and grotesque, but if you look closely at his works, you will find that behind his absurd and bizarre appearances is his serious and rigorous painting technique, which fully expresses the combination of rationality and irrationality.
From the perspective of the artistic expression of "absurdity", this paper analyzes the generation and expression of the "absurdity" language in Adrian Gurney's paintings in various periods, and uses the case analysis method, image analysis method and other art history research methods to explore the expression of "absurdity" in Adrian Gurney's paintings. This paper is mainly divided into four parts, the first part mainly discusses the origin of "absurdity" and the main forms of expression of artistic language; The second part discusses the origin of the "absurdity" in Adrian Gurney's paintings, that is, the background of the formation of the absurdist temperament style of his paintings. The third part will follow the second part's in-depth study of the "absurd" formal language characteristics of Gurney's paintings, discuss the unique collage form, historical image and space creation, deconstruction and abstraction, and discuss the treatment of various absurd elements in his works in different periods through the analysis of the processing techniques and creative forms in his paintings. The fourth part explores the implications of the absurd expressions in Adrian Gurney's paintings.
