后网络”这个词近年来主要在艺术与批评界之中运用,形容沉浸在互联网广泛覆 盖之中的一种交互型社会形态。而在这种社会形态下催生的后网络艺术,随着浸染在互 联网氛围下成长的年轻艺术工作者的不断成熟,其在当代艺术界的流行趋势也在逐渐扩 大。有关后网络艺术的话题既新又杂,但缺乏其作为艺术本体在美术史环境中的探讨视 角。然而大量的后网络艺术实践均呈现出了图像和符号的广泛运用、挪用和拼贴的手法、 扁平化的叙事逻辑、技术媒介的使用、抓人眼球的视觉效果等等特征,这些关键词都可 以追根溯源至后现代语境下的波普艺术。鉴于波普艺术对当代艺术有着深远的影响,其 与后网络艺术作品的视觉呈现有相似之处,所以笔者试图从波普艺术和后网络艺术的共 性开始研究起,从而揭示出后网络艺术中的波普元素。
本文通过对后网络艺术的形成及其特征、波普艺术的发展及其特点进行梳理,分别 阐述其脉络和特点之后,再通过大量的代表性艺术家以及具有代表性意义的艺术实践案 例,以后现代语境为桥梁,以科技媒介、图像运用、视觉呈现、艺术态度为线索来对比 分析波普艺术和后网络艺术的共性。通过研究发现,从文化语境的角度来说,波普艺术 和后网络艺术同处于后现代语境,其二者具备的后现代特征为它们之间的共性提供了文 脉基础;从艺术理念来说,后网络艺术和波普艺术的发生、实践、和传播与科技和媒体 紧密结合这一点是相同的;在理解世界的方式上,波普艺术和后网络艺术具有相似的背 景——电子、媒体技术的介入和图像的泛滥,这些因素从内容和形式两方面均对其二者 的艺术实践起到了主导作用,波普艺术为“图像作为理解世界的中介”开辟了道路,后 网络艺术受到屏幕媒介的影响更甚,在其艺术实践中,图像常常与真实的世界划上等号, 因此波普艺术与后网络艺术在利用图像理解世界这一点上具有不容争辩的共性;从视觉 呈现来说,二者的艺术实践都具有刺激眼球的视觉呈现;从艺术态度来说,波普艺术和 后网络艺术都带有浓重的后现代特质——用戏谑和反叛的态度巧妙地回应着这个繁杂 且多彩的世界。
笔者希望通过本文来打破目前对于后网络艺术的探究围绕其自身概念的局限,帮助 大众梳理后网络艺术在美术史语境下的关联性,为后网络艺术的讨论提供新的视角。

The term "post network" has been mainly used in the art and criticism circles in recent years to describe an interactive social form immersed in the extensive coverage of the Internet. The post network art, which was born in this social form, has gradually expanded its popularity in the contemporary art world with the maturity of young artists who grew up in the Internet atmosphere. The topic of post internet art is both new and complex, but lacks a perspective on its exploration as an art ontology in the context of art history. However, a large number of post internet art practices have shown the widespread use of images and symbols, techniques of appropriation and collage, flattened narrative logic, use of technological media, eye-catching visual effects, and other characteristics. These keywords can be traced back to pop art in the postmodern language environment. Given that pop art has a profound impact on contemporary art and shares similarities with the visual presentation of post internet art works, the author attempts to start studying the commonalities between pop art and post internet art, in order to reveal the pop elements in post internet art.
This article reviews the development and characteristics of pop art, as well as the formation and characteristics of post internet art. After elaborating on their context and characteristics, it compares and analyzes the commonalities between pop art and post internet art through a large number of representative artists and representative art practice cases. The post modern context serves as a bridge, and technology media, image application, visual presentation, and artistic attitude are used as clues to compare and analyze the commonalities between pop art and post internet art. Through research, it has been found that from the perspective of cultural context, pop art and post internet art are both in the postmodern context, and their postmodern characteristics provide a contextual basis for their commonalities; In terms of artistic philosophy, the emergence, practice, and dissemination of pop art and post internet art are closely integrated with technology and media, which is the same; In terms of understanding the world, pop art and post internet art have similar backgrounds - the intervention of electronic and media technology, and the proliferation of images. These factors play a leading role in their artistic practice from both content and form. Pop art has opened up a path for "images as intermediaries for understanding the world", and post internet art is more influenced by screen media in its artistic practice, Images often equate with the real world, so there is an undeniable commonality between pop art and post internet art in using images to understand the world; In terms of visual presentation, both artistic practices have visually stimulating effects on the eyes; In terms of artistic attitude, both pop art and post internet art have strong postmodern characteristics - cleverly responding to this complex and colorful world with a playful and rebellious attitude.
The author hopes to break through the current limitations of exploring post internet art around its own concepts through this article, help the public clarify the relevance of post internet art in the context of art history, and provide a new perspective for the discussion of post internet art.
