北宋的易元吉所绘《猴猫图》、《聚猿图》与南宋法常《松猿图》是花鸟画从北宋中期至南宋发展过程中呈现出的不同艺术表达与审美倾向。本文运用对比分析的方法，首先从猿猴的文化寓意及两位画家所处的时代哲学思潮入手，探寻易元吉与法常审美意趣的来源；其次对比分析二者猿图的画面表现所存在的差异，从而揭示时代哲学思潮对画家作品所表现出的艺术风格的影响。同时进一步在经典中吸收营养、化为己用。

"Monkey and Cat" and "Gathering apes" by Yi Yuanji in the Northern Song Dynasty and "Song and Ape" by Fachang in the Southern Song Dynasty are different artistic expressions and aesthetic tendencies of flower-and-bird paintings from the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty to the southern Song Dynasty. By means of comparative analysis, this paper explores the source of yi Yuanji's and Fachang's aesthetic interest from the cultural implication of the monkey and the philosophical trend of The Times in which the two painters live. Secondly, the differences between the two pictures of apes are compared to reveal the influence of philosophy of The Times on the artistic style of the painter's works. At the same time further absorb nutrients in the classics, for their own use.
