环境保护题材的艺术创作是当下热门的话题，笔者进行了相关的连环画作品的创作。通过对环境保护题材连环画创作实践，笔者对连环画创作进行了研究与思考。笔者在分析中外优秀环境保护题材连环画中，总结了连环画在表现环保主义题材的优势及价值。在分析环境保护艺术题材的选题现状中，发现了创作选题中呈现的不均衡现象：在表现对环境污染的批判、赞扬自然之美和反映经济发展与自然环境矛盾的相关艺术作品占据了环境保护艺术创作的大多数，但是表现反映环境保护成果和表现民众环保意识方面的艺术作品往往较少。笔者认为多数创作者对目前我国环境保护时代精神理解相对滞后。在连环画创作实践与理论研究下，笔者结合自身相关创作经验，通过连环画创作者的角度对连环画现状进行思考，认为连环画当前困境的原因并非传统认知中的新技术及新媒体的刺激，而在于缺乏符合时代精神的原创作品。笔者通过新技术在连环画上的运用，将连环画与多种产业相结合的方式，对连环画的复兴道路进行了探索。

The Environmental-protection themed artistic creation is a hot topic nowadays. The author has created relevant works in the form of comic strip. Through such practice, the author has studied and ruminated on the creation of comic strips. After the analysis of excellent Chinese and foreign comic strips on the topic of environmental protection, the author has summarized advantages and virtues of the form of comic strips in the expression of environmentalism. The analysis of the status quo of the selection of the subjects in environmental-protection themed artworks revealed a biased tendency: artworks focus extensively and mainly on criticism on environmental pollution, extolment of the beauty of nature, and presentation of the contradiction between economic development and the natural environment. However, artworks seldom direct their attention to subjects that reflect the achievements of environmental protection efforts and show the people's environment protection awareness. The author proposes that the reason for this is that many of the painters may have a relatively poor understanding of the contemporary spirit of environmental protection in China. In the context of comic practice and theoretical framework, the author counts on his own creation experiences, speculates from the perspective of creators, and ponders on the current situation of comic strips creation. The author believes that the reason for the current predicament of comic strip industry is not the shock of new technology and new media which is a common illusion. Instead, the reason is the lack of original works truly showing the spirit of our times. The author hopes to find a way to revive comic strips through the combination of new technologies and various industries.
