Mortise and tenon structure is a traditional structural technology, which is an important way of creation in ancient Chinese society. The process is practical and beautiful at the same time. According to different use positions, the practicability and aesthetics have their own tendencies. The use of tenon and mortise structure has the universality of scope and time. It is one of the symbols of Chinese national culture. Starting from the practicability and aesthetics of the mortise and tenon structure, this paper attempts to analyze the way in which the mortise and tenon structure participates in the modeling in sculpture, preliminarily discusses the relationship between the mortise and tenon structure and sculpture, and discusses the artistic language of the mortise and tenon structure in the changes of the relationship between them.
